Hope Within Despair

The hearts of people who are emotionally weary or damaged and is at a loss of hope is described as having a cold, frozen heart. Hope Within Despair is an interactive piece where the audience can directly send their support through warmth to whoever suffers under their frozen heart and their hardened emotions. 

This piece serves as a direct sequel to Despair Within Reality since the videos displaying the people were derived from that artwork to make modelings and animations of them. While the first video conveying their despair and weariness retains the art style from the original artwork, the second video where these people overcome their despair is modeled more so as realistic figures, further highlighting the internal change. This piece carries my wish that frozen hearts would thaw not only in this video but also in our reality through the warmth that was shared to the people shown.
